Skills Off The Grid
Skills Off The Grid is an educational resource offering
high-quality, low cost workshops to get people back to basics.
- Hilltop Hanover Farm
Hilltop Hanover Farm and Environmental Center is a working crop farm
and environmental educational center located in Yorktown Heights,
NY. The farm was a former dairy farm dating back to the 1600's.
Today the farm is a regional education center that offers programs
on healthy and sustainable food production and teaches skills for
small-scale suburban and urban farming techniques, illustrating
sustainable living practices for the region and local communities.
- Stone
Barns Center
Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture is a non-profit farm and
education center located just 25 miles north of Manhattan in
Pocantico Hills, New York. Stone Barns operates an 80-acre
four-season farm and is working on broader initiatives to create a
healthy and sustainable food system. Through our Growing Farmers
Initiative, children’s education programs, and diverse public
awareness programs, we aim to improve the way America eats and
farms.

Roots and Wings
Roots and Wings, a sustainable living project of South Church in
Dobbs Ferry offers green spirituality programs, gardening workshops
and permaculture presentations. Their goal is to learn how to
"feed our bodies, regenerate the environment and nourish our
spirits.”

InterGenerate
InterGenerate builds strong communities on a healthy planet.
Creating environmental and social sustainability around shared
concerns for food security, InterGenerate reaches across traditional
social boundaries to bring people together to grow our food locally,
sharing the work while deepening ties to each other. InterGenerate
is founding both community and teaching gardens and promoting local
resourcing throughout the County.
